If the swelling is caused by an infection that is susceptible to Ampicillin, then it can help. But as far as I know, Ampicillin is not used to treat inflammation on its own. Bethanechol has been used to help treat the symptoms of GERD caused by lower esophageal sphincter issues. However, from what I have read, it is not often used for GERD anymore due to the side effects and other options available. @@NurseRyan Bethanachol looks like a good option, it can work within 1 hour, I don't know why they prefer a PPI, Bethanachol is not directly available on the NHS, FYI Viagra can cause LES issues, thanks for the reply

I was there, and this stuff was a game changer! My completely non-medical, unprofessional, experienced only based advice: don’t stay on this stuff for too long. It was such a great change of my life that I stayed on it for about five years, then weaned myself off, and finally realize that I think I just stayed on it a little bit too long. When you’re on it, it’s great, but also use it as a tool to realize this is how my life can be and how I can live my life. Then maybe after a year or two or whatever consider trying to wean yourself off of it. And I do know you need to wean yourself off of it with a professional. You can see if you’ve rewired your brain a little bit at point to cope with anxiety just more typical skills, and you can always go back on if you have to right?

The FDA document on Xanax mentions the possibility for adverse effects on the liver, but does not mention the prevalence. It may be that it is less than 1%, but I'm not sure. I would recommend asking a pharmacist for the best information!

A quick look online shows that Gravol is in pregnancy category B, which means that "animal reproduction studies have failed to demonstrate a risk to the fetus and there are no adequate and well-controlled studies in pregnant women." - drugs.com So I would still recommend talking to your doctor about taking Gravol while pregnant just to be safe!

A quick look online makes it look like Propranolol can be very effective in the treatment of Akathisia! I have not personally seen it used this way, but it definitely looks promising. Hey guys, Dr. Luther is the Nclex solution be it RN or PN. I just passed the Nclex RN with great help from him on my 5th attempt

I can't say for sure because they are different exams, but NCLEX RN will likely be more difficult as it is the registration exam for Registered Nurses, while the CPNRE is the registration exam for Registered Practical Nurses.
