    • @NurseRyan
      @NurseRyan 11 дней назад

      Ciprofloxacin may help to treat (or prevent) the infection if the infection is susceptible to Cipro. It you have any questions about the treatment of your wound, I would definitely recommend speaking to your doctor for the best information for your case, as these videos are meant only for educational purposes!

    Will this medicine help with swelling ?

    • @NurseRyan
      @NurseRyan 16 дней назад

      If the swelling is caused by an infection that is susceptible to Ampicillin, then it can help. But as far as I know, Ampicillin is not used to treat inflammation on its own. You would need to take an anti inflammatory drug like an NSAID. However, I would always recommend speaking to your doctor or pharmacist for the best information for your case!

      Bethanechol has been used to help treat the symptoms of GERD caused by lower esophageal sphincter issues. I was there, and this stuff was a game changer! My completely non-medical, unprofessional, experienced only based advice: don’t stay on this stuff for too long. It was such a great change of my life that I stayed on it for about five years, then weaned myself off, and finally realize that I think I just stayed on it a little bit too long. When you’re on it, it’s great, but also use it as a tool to realize this is how my life can be and how I can live my life. Then maybe after a year or two or whatever consider trying to wean yourself off of it. And I do know you need to wean yourself off of it with a professional. You can see if you’ve rewired your brain a little bit at point to cope with anxiety just more typical skills, and you can always go back on if you have to right?
